Tobren Deliver as a PASS alternative
If you deliver high volume, the thing that decides a platform is rarely the gallery itself. It is what happens around it: how the files get organised, how a buyer finds the eight frames that concern them, and where the money goes when they buy.
September 2026: if you have been told PASS is winding down and moving accounts to Pic-Time, the section below on where your client's money goes is the one to read first. We are not restating anyone's announcement; check what you were sent.
Here is what Tobren Deliver does. We have deliberately not restated anyone else's pricing or limits on this page: those change, and a comparison table that goes stale is worse than no table. Their pricing page is linked at the bottom with the date we last read it.
PASS is built on Pic-Time's platform; our Pic-Time page covers the same comparison.
The money never passes through us
This is the difference that matters most and the one that is easiest to misread.
Plenty of platforms will tell you they take no cut, and many genuinely don't. That is a statement about the fee. It is not a statement about the flow.
With Tobren Deliver you connect your own Stripe or your own Square account, and your client's payment goes directly into it. We are not a party to the transaction. There is no payout schedule to wait on, no balance of yours sitting with us, and nothing for us to withhold — because the money was never ours to hold. If you closed your Tobren account tomorrow, the merchant relationship you built is yours and unaffected.
That is a structural difference, not a pricing one, and it is worth checking on any platform you are considering: not "what do you charge?" but "whose merchant account does my client pay into?"
A person is a seat, not a surcharge
If you shoot with an associate, a second shooter, or an editor, they get a real login with real access control rather than your password. Professional includes five seats, Studio fifteen, Enterprise unlimited. Team members sign in with Google, Apple, or a username and password they set themselves, and can turn on two-factor authentication. There is nothing for you to issue or reset.
Adding someone does not change what you pay per job, and it does not take a percentage of what their galleries sell.
Video is watermarked too
Photo and video, both watermarked automatically on upload, with your logo scaled to the frame so it sits correctly on a wide crop and a tall one alike. Clients browse the watermarked cut and pay to unlock the clean file, the same way they do with stills. A package can cover photos, video, or both.
Video is on every paid plan.
Your client list is not a metered dimension
Customers are unlimited on every plan, including the free one. How many people you serve is never the reason you have to move up a tier — plans differ on storage and seats, and that is all.
White-label starts at free
Logo, banner, colours, fonts and watermark are yours on every plan including the free one, on a branded subdomain. On Professional and above you can put galleries on your own domain, so the address bar says your studio too.
Galleries that look like yours
Four layouts — grid, masonry, a single column or a film strip — with a cover, your own running order and a slideshow. Save a look as a template, make one your studio default, and let a single gallery wear its own colours and watermark when a job calls for it.
Clients proof and pick
Clients heart the frames they want as they browse, leave a note on any of them, and filter a gallery to their own shortlist. You get each client's picks grouped by who chose what, and a CSV when you would rather work from a list.
What we do not do yet
Worth knowing before you move a season of work:
- No AI face recognition. There is no automatic "find every photo of this person."
- No print lab integration. We deliver files and take the payment for them; the lab relationship stays yours.
- No client contracts or e-signatures.
- No offline or app-store app. Deliver can be added to a phone's home screen from the browser, under your studio's name, but it needs a connection and it is not in the App Store or Google Play.
- Bulk import from Google Drive is switched off while we complete Google's security review. Direct upload works normally.
If your workflow depends on any of those, we are not the right move today, and we would rather you read that here than find out afterwards.
Try it on one real job
There is a free plan — $0, no card, no countdown — sized to run one real job from upload to download. That is the honest way to evaluate any of this: put a finished shoot through it and see whether the delivery feels like yours. Your client list can come with you: import it from a CSV, with a dry run first. If you are moving a back catalogue, the free plan is sized for one job, not a migration; start on a paid plan's trial and move down afterwards if it fits.
