About Tobren
Business software for photographers and drone pilots, built by someone who does both kinds of work.
The company
Tobren Software LLC is a Georgia limited liability company. It makes two products, each for its own trade, and neither one assumes you have the other.
- Tobren Deliver — client galleries for photographers: host, watermark and sell photos and video under your own brand, with every client payment going straight to your own Stripe or Square. Tobren is never in your payment flow. Available today.
- Tobren Operations — crews, aircraft, checklists and flight records for commercial drone operators, from one aircraft to a fleet, with the audit-ready report an insurer or a client asks for. Coming soon.
- Tobren Fieldcrew — crew coordination for studios and operators who work with contractors. In planning.
There is no outside funding and no sales team. The products are built, supported and run by the founder, and contact@tobren.io reaches him directly. What each product does, and does not do yet, is on its own page; the security and trust page says what is actually built to keep your data safe.
The founder
Brent Roskos is a software engineer of about forty years, an FAA Part 107 pilot and the owner of SkyForge Visuals, a drone services company in metro Atlanta. His earlier businesses, all since closed, were Massage Manager, scheduling and client records for massage therapists; a Central Florida web host with a Windows hosting control panel he wrote before one existed; and, with his wife, Krysti's Koffee and Smoothies. He served four years in the U.S. Army with B Company, 501st Support Battalion, 1st Armored Division, at Illesheim, Germany, and the 724th Support Battalion at Hinesville, Georgia, including Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. A Part 61 private pilot licensed in 1995 and a diver since 1999, he lives in metro Atlanta and builds Tobren because the tools he wanted for his own drone and camera work did not exist.
Brent is on LinkedIn.
Why two products
Photographers and drone operators are different trades with different buyers, so Tobren does not try to be one tool for both. Deliver is the engineer’s answer to delivering and selling client work without a platform standing between the studio and its money. Operations is the operator’s answer to running a day on site as one event rather than a pile of loose flight logs, and keeping the records the people who audit you actually ask for. If you fly and deliver, use both; nothing in either one depends on the other.
